With the new update from Castle Creations, the MM should handle the Neu motor fine. You will just have to gear down quite a bit because the motor is such a high KV. If you haven't bought the motor yet, i'd recommend the Neu 1515/1y (2200KV) instead.

I'll second that. The 1515/1y on 4s with the MM worked excellent, other than the cogging in my E-Maxx. What are you putting it in?

I run the MM/Neu 1.5d/f (2700Kv) in my MBX5T and it works great. My gearing is 11/46. The 1Y is 2200Kv and would require a larger pinion (which may be why mkrusedc gets some cogging).

happywing is correct. I could only go down so far and still get a good mesh with the spur. The lagre Neu hits the E-Maxx tranny and cannot be placed closer for smaller spurs. I think 17/52 gearing was the smallest I could fit.
