mamba max shuts down after a jump

mamba max shuts down after a jump - 09.25.2008, 08:48 PM

why does my mamba max shut donw after a jump. i've only had it for a day. should i put more servo tape underneath?

Possibly something to do with the switch. Try mounting the switch differently.

or get rid of the swich and tie the wires together. then its on whenever u plug in the batt. less hassle

i have an extra novak switch so i might use that. i plan on using a switch since i easily forget about disconnecting batteries, that's why i don't have lipo.

leaving ANY BATTERY connected will damage it... its just a case of how long. imo they shouldnt have come with switches but thats my opinion of course.

are you running a external bec?....this happened to me a couple of times until i found the "cold" solder joint where my bec was plugged in....it also happened when i found another "cold" solder joint on my deans plugs.....

bad solder joint or is there any of the bullets that aren't completely covered with shrink. If any wires touch each other that could be really bad. Best to eliminate the switch, it only shuts down the internal bec

I had this problem with mine and went through all my soldering only to find it was the ESC plug into the reciever pulling out. I put a zip tie on it and it fixed the problem.
