Traxxas Site - 03.04.2011, 05:04 PM

I'm beginning to see why people don't use the Traxxas site. I asked a question that I thought was legit and when I didn't get an answer I did a little " Hello" thing and got jumped by one of their members. I don't get why some people have to be A*****'s just because they have been on the site for a long time???

I see that now. The only problem with this is that there are some things that I would like to ask, now I don't feel that I should because if their members all act like that I don't really like being treated like I'm stupid by some A** pirate just because he has been there longer then I have. I wouls like to think poeple in this hobby would want to help, like on this site. I ask a question here and people are helpful. Sorry for the RANT....... Please don't think I'm like this all the time, I was just blown away by the members on the Traxxas site. I'm probibly going to get in trouble for this but I think people need to know what is going on over there...

Honestly I see no need to even go on the traxxas forum, everything I have ever wanted to know I have found over here. I tried the traxxas forum for about a week when i had an erevo but quickly learned it is filled with children. Plus the people here have a sense of humor, something that is really lacking over on the traxxas site.

No doubt. They are all really not that helpful and have no sense of humor at all. I just wasn't sure about talking about a nitro truck here, as it is an electric site, and all. I need to run my nitro till it dies as the wife will not let me replace the motor till the nitro dies. And I have found that the people here have no problem helping, when they can. So I will probibly be getting kicked off the Traxxas site soon anyway so no big lose.

Thank you Josh and all the other people that have been helpful. Also anyone living here in Las Vegas? I wouldlove to see some of these electric trucks run.

Yes it is, but I would still have to come up with the money. As I am still recovering from back surgery and not working, it could be a little hard to do. As close as I can figure it is going to cost about $400.00 to do this right, and I don't want to have a** this. So I'm going to have to keep my nitro running for now. Unless someone would be willing to donate the parts I need for a good cause???? I thought not, just kidding. And again thank you all for the help and for making me feel welcome...
