First of all, how is the G in Integy pronounced? Like the G in tiGer or the G in Gym?

What is the originality of Integy? is it an American or Chinese or Japanese or what?

What are your thoughts on them?

How are their parts made, or engineered? CNC machined?

Are they worth the money? good quality?

I've always heard it pronounced like the G in gym. As for the other questions, I'm not sure on all of them but I can comment on my experience with their quality.

I had some CVD's of theirs on my Mini-LST and they were horrible. Broke two of them in about two weeks. Stock drive shafts had lasted me months. I've also seen a lot of their aluminum parts bend easily. Maybe they've improved, but I won't buy anything from them. That's also due to no customer service when I mailed back their broken CVD's. No reply at all. I'm no fan of InteGy's.

I've broken a number of integy parts. I've owned their shocks and can tell you they are cheaply built. their bulkheads for the Maxx are only marginally stronger than the stock plastic ones. CVD's are made of the cheapest steel.

Others have had a better experiance with integy but I would probably never buy another integy "hop-up". That's my experience & opinion.

I can testfy to the lower a arms are good(the newer ones anyway). but the bulk heads i've had sucked the big, well, keep that too myself! Anyways, the new a arm sets that Mike had are good quality for the money, or bang for the buck, or however you want to put it. But CHC can testify better on that, well, when he's done riding his bike that is!

Their 18T shocks suck hardcore, the adjustable preload rings get stuck on the bodies, and even cut a guy at our Hobby People store. The majority of their stuff I've seen is cheaply made and over priced, the 18T stuff is mediocre at best.

Integy stuff is the worst! I had their shock towers and knuckles and both bent like rubber under moderate abuse. Never again. Stick to FLM for the best bang for the buck.

Man! That's really disappointing.

I wanted to build up a B4 buggy with lots of aluminum stuff. Mike told me that he can easily do it, but he said its gonna be costy.

Now, I've ran a B4, befor:) , with a Fun480-42 motor and 1920/8 motor at 12 volts. However, I dont know if I really want to own it again. I'm starting to lean over the 1/16th and 1/18th scale rigs, but the 1/16th are 2wd and the 1/18th are 4wd, so which way do you recommend me to go?

1/16th 2wd? The Kyosho Mini Infernos and Mini Inferno ST's are 1/16 and are 4wd...That is probably the BEST mini there is. The ST even has diffs that can be tuned with oil....

The mini inferno's run off AA right? I bought a mini inferno last night that does, so i'm gonna return it and get the RC18T instead. Seems more durable.

You sure it was a Mini Inferno and not a Mini-Z? The Mini-Z's run off of AA or AAA batteries, can't remember which. The Mini Inferno has 2/3A NiMh packs that it uses.

Also, if I had to do it over, I'd probably have started with a Mini Inferno versus the RC18T I have. I love my RC18T, but the little bit of extra wheel height of the Mini Inferno helps a lot with running off road when you're bashing (I've got Mini Inferno wheels/tires on my Vendetta). I've also got a Mini Quake and Vendetta and would recommend those as well if you've got the patience to upgrade the Vendetta or don't mind spending $125 for a Mini Quake SE roller. Almost every 18th/16th scale out there has a ton of hop up parts available, so there's no shortage of upgrades for any model.

It stated mini inferno on the box, not sure what kind as I'm not at home to look. sorry

Yep, just read the specs. I didn't realize that the MI didn't come standard with a NiMh pack. Of course, there isn't a 16th or 18th scale that comes with a good NiMh pack from the get go. IB1400's are where it's at.

I've found the Kyosho for a reasonable price, but where can I find some CF and aluminum hop ups?
