I really didn't want to watch that video, but I couldn't help myself. I love the XB8, and the video only makes me want one even more. Unfortunately, my local hobby shop doesn't stock parts for the X-Ray, so I just stick with my Sportwerks.

Isn't it amazing the way an XB8 just looks like it's floating on air and riding on rails all at the same time.

Thanks for your answers!

I have a probleme with my setup, the motor over heat and the controller cut after 5 min of run.

My motor Feigao 540c 9L it's a 3345kv and in 14,4V the rpm goes up 50000tr/min

Does the controller have a adjustment to limit the rpm?? what i have to do for decrease the temperature??

I use a 13t pinions and a 46 T spur.

Thanks and sorry for my bad language:005:

Get yourself a Wanderer 7XL or a 8XL and you should be fine.

I think that the 9L is closer to a 2500kv motor. I would suspect that your controller needs a heatsink, as has already been mentioned.

As for the gearing, I'm running an 8L in my buggy right now with 10/46 gearing and haven't had any problems with heat.

Nice buggy indeed! It seems very smooth with the Quark in there. Although, the jittery trigger finger... :005:

Anywho, NICE driving through the track.
