PolyQuest 30-50C Kicks Butt! - 09.09.2007, 09:48 PM

I think these PQ packs are excellent.... What do you guys think?.. I really want to get some, but I might go with A123's just because they're cheaper... :)

I wonder why they cost more than flightpower evo30's... I think the Evo30's are better...

The evo30 uses the Enerland cells and Polyquest is an Enerland brand.

I think Duralite is supposed to be the distributor.

Did anyone notice the "turn head and cough" prices of those batteries? And Uninted Hobbies usually has some of the cheapest prices too. (they have to when you look at shipping costs for heavier items) If I was going to spend that kind of money, I would buy a few trakpowers as they seem to be highly rated by the users here and have the hard case. I am sick of re-shrinking my lipos, now I just use masking tape. Ugly, but cheap and functionally just as good

But you are not going to find the 30/50c cells in the hard case, Aqwut was refering to.

BTW, did they upgrade all 20C to this level or is a different formulation in the new lipo's? I am refering to the enerland based cells

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

The've upgraded the formulation in the 20C cells like the trackpowers to 25C, the 30C cells are completely new.

If you can get FlightPowers or ThunderPowers for the same price or cheaper than polyquest do so, FP & TP match there packs and I don't believe anyone else does. I just got a balancer and tried to balance my FP pack that probably has over 50 cycles in my buggy but it needed no balancing.

I just got a great deal on some 20C cells as they are being replaced by 25Cs and FP 20C 4350 seems ample for my buggy they hold over 3.5V/cell for the most of the run.
