Those difs aren't that new. I have been running them for a few months now. They do make it pull nice out of the corners. Running the active dif in the front basically locks the front diff on power and as soon as you let off it goes back to normal dif action. It works very nice.
I was just looking through the new XB808 as they are calling it and DAMN!. This thing is almost totally new. They just totally obsoleted the last generations of XB8. I think the only parts that are not changing from the last gen XB8EC to this generation are the diffs themselves, radio box, wing mount and wheel nuts. Other than that there aren't any common parts.
I'm not sure about the steering blocks and hubs, they don't look tough enough to me.
Now I don't know if I want to upgrade and have to rebuild the spares bin.

I can't believe anyone hasn't commented on how much this looks the Losi 8ight. Same narrowed offset drivetrain design, big bore shocks, same knuckle/caster block design, similar anodizing color, and even the arms look almost identical.
The biggest difference visually would be the kyosho/mugen style servo tray and the fact that they're using carbon shock towers and various plates.
Looks like a nice buggy though! I'm just surprised no one's commented on that yet. Looks nice! Those diffs look way cool.
