which is better 7 8 or 9xl motor for emaxx - 02.21.2008, 01:26 PM

just throwing this question out for some info i may play around with different motors,im currently running a 8xl feigao in my new emaxx off of a mm and 4cell,what would a 7 do oor a 9,thanks guys

i've ran a 7xl in my 3905s on 4s and 6s. i think it would be a good choice for ur setup with 4s lipo. with a 22 tooth pinion with any spur and you'll be in the low to mid 40s (maybe a 24 with stock spur)

With the Feigao XL motors shoot for 30K to 35K rmp on the voltage you are running. That will likely be your best choice unless you are running something out of the ordinary in your setup. ie.. Huge 7" tires or an extreemly heavy all aluminum rig or something like that.

how ere your temps with the 7xl,over 40 miles and hour sounds like what i want
