My 4 WS Twinforce - 02.28.2008, 07:31 PM

So i decided i wanted 4ws in my Twinforce. I decided to buy two Thundertech Racing steering kits and install them. The front went on no problem but the rear took a little modification. I had to take out the dremel and cut part the aluminum motor plate away so that the servo would not hit when the suspension is fully compressed. Other than that pretty easy install and the results are awesome. This thing turns on a dime now. What do you guys think?

Looks good, really love these trucks! Question though, with Lipo and a BL, do you really want it to steer that quick?

I have one myself, which has pretty much been broken for like a year, lol. When you jump it like 15' high and 35' over, and land on one wheel, it doesn't do so well.

Just curious as to how wide your TF is? I recently put on some Dace Mugen MSR 23mm adapters, and would like to know the track difference...

I'm guessing.. 15.75" ish?

PS - why do you have the rear steering horn facing the opposite direction as the front?

Even with lipo and brushless it really is not all that fast. I only using a Feigao 10L. I don't really need to have it turn fast i just like to be able to turn fast with it sometimes. I don't really jump at all with this truck i have others for that. The width with the Dave 22mm adapters is 16". I have the servo horn faced the same direction so that the rear wheels would turn the other way as the front. If you'll notice the servo is turned the oppisite way as the front. Also the servo horn in the rear would have hit the long aluminun rod if i had placed it the other way. I hope that is not too confusing, sorry.

Exactly what adapters did you go with?

The Dace 23mm adapters for the Jammin X1 CRT?
