Final parts to complete my E-maxx - 03.06.2008, 08:00 AM

I am about to buy the final parts to complete my E-maxx into full alu, and upgrades on every part.

I am looking for som steering blocks/knuckles front and rear, and all I seem to find in alu is Integy and Powerline. Will they be good enough, or are there some other brands?

How about the pivot balls. Shall I keep them stock, or will I gain anything noticeable with changing to titanium?

I also need some bodyposts, but from what I have read, it is not smart to have them in alu, with the Gorillamaxx shocktowers. I canŽt even find the stock ones on Towers homepage, so I thought IŽd go RPM, but they are only made for RPM shocktowers.

What are you guys running, and do you have any suggestions?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Several companies make Alu knuckles- are you looking for 3.3spec ones? If you search ebay for 'e-maxx', you shoud find the RCRaven plastic body posts that are round, but they have seriously high shipping charges (it might be worth looking on the crawler websites for round body posts as thats what they use 99% of the time- just trim to the desired length). I use stock pivot balls and they are fine, nothing much to gain I dont think except a small weight saving.

I am currently using the stock 2,5 knuckles, so I guess I am looking for the 2,5 alu knuckles also. I just bought the Lunsford turnbuckles to match the 2,5.

Will the Integy knuckles be ok, or will I be better off with RPM plastic?

I will try to find round bodyposts, or just use the stock ones.

Regarding the pivotballs, that was what I thought too. Only issue is weight, and I guess I wont notice that anyway, when the truck have ½ pound of mud and dirt on it ;o)
