Hacker Master + 53/30 Stator Outrunner = Perfect! - 03.19.2008, 07:46 PM

Got my hacker master car sport esc finally up and running today. i didnt expect it to run well on a outrunner let alone a 5s lipo since alot of poeple sadi it wouldnt work well on 5s but guess what? It works great! I ran it with my brother's 40/20 stator outrunner on 5s and it had super smooth throttle control. I have really high hopes now that I know it will work good on the setup I intend to use it for. BTW: Why is there a red wire coming from the ESC when it doesnt have a built in bec? Its opto so...

Keep me posted on this as I have the Master Race. How long did you use it for?

I used it for about 5mins which isnt long but the esc kept ice cold throughout the run. It looks to be very promising!

I sure hope that it runs good with my upcoming 53/30 stator outrunner. Im looking to run it on 5s with a direct drive setup in my warhead.

Just ran it today in my rustler on 5s lipo with a Feigao 8xl motor. It kept ice cold through the whole run and ran like a champ. Couldnt ask for a smoother ESC!

Hmm, thats alright then. I know some people complain that they used to smoke with certain setups, but I guess it depends on how hard you push it.

Ran the Hacker in the Savage 25 awhile back and forgot to update you guys about it on this thread. It ran ice cold throughout the run. I was running a FP 5s 3200mah 30c-60c lipo with a Feigao 8xl. In the savage my lipo ran warm which gives me the thought that my motor is pulling more amps then it can supply whcih is rated at 97cont and 200a bursts. This just doesnt seem right to me? Everything ran ice cold accpet the lipo which was warm. Same thing with when I ran the exact same setup.

'good' payed jobs often do not leave much room for other activities aside of the job! time or money is a trade off for the most people. sad but true.
