Look for yusa and gtp in the search feature. A couple of us (me included) have converted 2 speed 1/8scale buggy based cars.

I got a BL Inferno GT project going... but I decided on an (almost) locked center diff. To get rid of the mech break.

I have what i think was one of the test cars for that project. Im in the process of putting an RCM motor plate on it due to the crazy flex that caused too much gear mesh change. The chassis is actually custom made carbon fiber which i think made it worse than if aluminum was used. I just found out that i cant use the 2 speed bell with mikes mount which is what im working on making work right now. Ill post some pics when its done!

The Nemisis motor in that thing was way too much for the BK warrior that it came with IMO. It would get way too hot! Nice to see they are using the hydra now. I bet that thing is quick.

I am sure it works as well as the rest of the conversion. Just like the adjustable motor mount...
