Want to do a buggy conversion but wich one??? - 03.25.2008, 09:44 PM

I look for a buggy or truggy conversion, but i don't know wich one.
I've an Hyper 7 pro on my list and a Mugen MBX5T truggy.
The Jammin X1 CRT RTR too.

The Mugen is realy temptating, but i would like to try a buggy. It's light and should be very fast with my Neu 1515 1Y and a 6s setup

I want to have your comments!

Thank's

David

I always say, pick the one you can get parts for at local hobby shop. I would like to do a 6s buggy too, or convert my current 4s one.

The parts is not a problems, my LHS don't have any parts. I always order factory parts from A Main Hobbies.
And the special parts for conversion, order from RCM.

So i'll the parts avaibilities will not influence my choice.

The hyper buggies are really nice David. I have 2 hyper7s and a hyper8. They are great buggies and handle well. I really like them, especially over ofna's other buggies (all are basically the same save the hyper series).

How about the new Xray. XB808.

I am planning to do one. I already have mine pre ordered. Should be out in a couple weeks. The existing RCM xray mount should drop right in.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I want to do a buggy conversion as well. Possibly a truggy though too. I want something reliable to race. The main advantage of a truggy is I could use the battery from the savage.

Savage: FLM Conversion, 6s, MMM, CC 1520.
Mini-T Pro: Micro Pro 6800kv, Lipo, HS-81mg, Dirt Hawgs
M18MT: Quark 33A, Y22S 6000kv, FP 2s Lipo
LRP S8-BX: RC-M Conversion, Tekin RX8 B1600KV, 6S.
