2 Cool RC - 04.11.2008, 10:54 AM

Has anyone ordered from http://www.2coolrc.com/default.aspx before?

I ordered some parts for my e-maxx on 03-31-2008. When I log onto the website to check my order it says that my product have NOT shipped.

I have sent 2 e-mails and called 2 times in the past week, every time I call I have to leave a message and I have not gotten any response from my e-mails.

The website does not list if a part is in stock or not, but I just want a answer why my stuff has not shipped.

My credit card was charged the day I ordered the parts.

What should I do?

I've had trouble with these guys - little over a year ago. I ordered something and it seemed like it went into limbo. They do not let you know when ordering online if the item is actually available or not (looks like that has not changed). Their excuse was their business has gone thru the roof and they were not able to handle it or keep up. I did eventually get my stuff after about a month. Never seen where they've stiffed anyone, it just might be a while though.

If you can get some response, see when they estimate they'll get what you ordered. If its not that long just wait. Otherwise request a refund on your credit card. I won't order from them anymore. Good luck

The same guy who moderates the http://houstonrc.com/ forum is supposedly the owner of 2CoolRC.
I noticed his location is actually in the same town that I live in so I sent him a pm once asking if he had some sort of store front and he replied that he doesn't and that all sales are made online only.
So if you really wanted to get in touch then you can join his forum and send him a pm. His username is 2coolRC
This may just be a business like RC-Monster with one guy that has to do a whole lot of things to keep up with sales.

That could explain the long wait.

I ordered from them quite a while back- same kinda issues. I did get an email saying a certain item was backordered, and eventually after a few weeks got an email to say the order had been shipped. Good prices, nice selction of stuff, just lacking on the communication front a little (regards stock status etc).

I wouldn’t care if the items are out of stock or backorder but I just want them to respond to my voice mails or e-mails

I guess I will wait 2 more weeks and then if nothing I will call my credit card company
