CC Bec need a switch? - 04.23.2008, 11:45 AM

Do I need a switch between the bec and the reciever, or can I just plug it in and everything is powered when I plug in the battery?

No switch necessary. Your Rx will get power as soon as you plug your battery into the ESC (assuming your BEC input is wired in parallel with the ESC input).

I just used the 10amp CC BEC on my GEVO project. I simply connected the Red (positive) and black (negative) from the BEC to the red & black off the ESC / battery wire and ran my BEC wire to my Rx.

Please see photo’s below..

Thanks – helps that helps..

Shaun.
