Problems programming my BK controller - 05.14.2008, 09:16 PM

I just picked up a brushless revo and I'm having trouble programming the BK controller that came with it. I found the thread on this site (http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...?s=&threadid=8) that shows the steps for programming the controller but I can't seem to get it to work properly...there is no beep from the motor when I turn everything on??

In the part where it says "remove the red programming bridge (little red jumper near the battery leads)." is that referring to the little red wire that is shown in the attached picture that comes from the battery lead?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would love to get this thing going

The red jumper is tucked under the shrink wrap on the battery lead end of the bk controller. It might take a little looking to spot it and if the shrink wrap goes past the end of the actual circut board it might be hard to get to. Its on the bottom side of the board. And on my BK its actually more of and orange color rather than red.

BTW: I would put some shrink wrap or electrical tape over the exposed wirtes where the bec wires are attached. Shorting those by accident would be bad.

thanks for the reply. Those wires were covered up pretty good...I just thought that was the little red wire they were talking about so I unwrapped them. I will wrap them back up and go looking for that other wire.

Thanks alot

its not a wire.... Its a little square plastic piece. It has a metel thing inside it that connect 2 small posts together. When its removed the BK goes into to programing mode. You follow the instructions you linked to and then you put it back on.
