Its a 4s battery but when hooked up the the 4 cell slot the charger says no balancer is hooked up. If I plug it into the 3 cell slot it recognizes it but it only charges it for a few seconds and it says its done.
Did I mess my battery up? I drove it probably pretty low about 2 weeks ago. It didnt shut off or anything but I had about 30 minutes of run time on it. So it sat for 2 weeks in that condition... Do you think I ruined a cell? Its a new battery other than maybe 5 charges on it.
Maybe its just a pulled wire or something but everything looks fine.
What kind of battery is it? Brand?
A bec is a battery eliminator curcuit, basically it powers the rec and servos via the main battery, so you do not need to use and external rx pack.
You most likely pulled it down too low leaving it plugged in.
Ok confirmed dead. Plugged it into the ESC it blinked and chirped a dozen times then shut off. The Hyperion was able to read the 4 cells, it said 5.3v, it would not charge saying voltage to low on cell 1, or 4 .. it varied.
So this is a $150 lesson learned. I knew better... been busy lately, it thats any excuse.
So it sounds like if I get a BEC I can go higher than 4S on my Quark 125b. I was sticking with 4S because the quark recommends external rx pack if u go beyond 4s. So all I need is a BEC to go beyond 4s?
