The weekend so far... - 05.24.2008, 06:38 PM

Well i found a big dirt pile not to far from me so i thought i would take the E-Revo out for some jumps today. Ran through two packs and all i broke was this. Must have had the slipper too tight, luckily i had a spare.

I think that is the first time I have seen a broken slipper disc. If that's all that broke, I would say that is a pretty good day!

Wow.. that some nice Air... I've never seen a broken slipper disc before either.. Luckily they are only 8 bucks and if that’s the only damage you suffered, then its been a good day..

Thanks for showing the cools pics.. it's gives me something to shoot for.. (Big air!)

Have a great one and I hope your truck is back online soon..

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..

Yeah this is the second Revo i have had over the last few years and that is one part i've never broke before. I was amazed when i started taking things apart because i thought it was one the tranny pins. Good thing i did the BrianG pin mod. Let's hope that's all i break this weekend.

proof that im not the only one who sees a random dirtpile while driving and wants to go home and get their truck and come back, we'll be driving and ill see a big pile of jump and just bust outload and say man that would be an awesome jump and my gf is like what are you talking about...lol

I have learned to take one of my trucks with me at all times cause you never know what you come across when your out driving. It drives my wife crazy and since our son is into RC now he's always on the lookout too. Now i just need to start bringing my camera more often so i can get some good pics. The ramp up was a little narrow but i hit it everytime, it was the landings that were the hard part.

I don't live that far from Loosenuts raceway, maybe 20 minutes. Next time you go i would be happy to meet you out there with my Revo and run through a few packs.
