Medusa Motor Question - 06.04.2008, 11:30 AM

Are the Medusa Motors 036-60-2000v strong enought for a Truggy? I seem people use it for buggies, but wasn't sure if it would be torquey enought for a truggy. BTW, where can I get one of these...there web site seem to be out of stock since the ice age.

FYI - we will be carrying the MedUsa motors soon. We are working with MedUsa on developing a 70mm motor for truggy duty as well. :)

Thats great news. Hopefully they wont take to long to make the 70mm ones. If I cant wait that long then I will probably get a 60mm for an erevo.

Great news mike. I have a 60mm 1500kv sitting here that hasn't been used yet. I will be trying it soon in my e-maxx, however it is mostly stock and doesn't weigh a ton. I am definitely excited about the 70mm versions on the way as well. Medusa's CS was excellent to deal with and very responsive.

Good to hear Mike. They mentioned a possible 80mm to me on the phone the other day too.

When you get the 60mm's in I'll be ordering one.

And, is that a "good" thing? I guess it depends on the perspective...

I to talked to Medusa today.I'm tenth on there list and they said 2 more weeks for me.They also said by the end of june they should be all caught up and able to keep up on stock. He said they are hoping for the 70 in a 1600 and 2200 kv by Aug.I was kinda guaranteed 1 by now so he went ahead and knocked 15% off my order and said he would sell me the 70 for 15% off also. They seem like really good people there. So eventually I should have both.Which leaves me with the problem of what other vehicle?

Figuratively speaking guys, I ment figuratively!

A 70 or 80mm long Medusa would be awesome, like Neu 1515-21 performance for half the price; thats even better than the megas. Guess I need to start saving up again, though thanks to a certain someone around here I wont have to save up much...
