The Signal - 06.12.2008, 12:11 AM

This movie "The Signal" just came out tues on dvd. I just watched it tonight and it's pretty trippy/funny/crazy. I had not seen it in theaters because it did not come to Houston which was aggravating because my sister-in-law is the lead female role. Anyway if any of you like off beat movies or horror/scifi/suspense types it's a cool flick. I am not just saying that because she is in it because I have been to some of her plays that I thought were crap.

I think linc would definitely like this one for some reason.

Rated R, trailer doesn't look that bad that it requires a R rating

its because of the strong brutal bloody violence throughout, pervasive language and brief nudity

It definitely needs the R rating. It gets pretty brutal through out. The movie has 3 different directors/writers who direct three different parts of the film: Transmissions 1, 2, and 3. Basically it's about a signal hidden in communication devices that messes with your brain waves and causes you to kill and think you have to do it. It's actually a pretty good story all in all. The middle part of the movie (transmission 2) kind of has a old school Quentin Tarantino feel to it and is my favorite part. I also really like the ending scenes.

By the way, it was all filmed in Atlanta for any of you Georgians. The DVD is available at bestbuy and on netflix as well as others.

That's my boy. He is almost 2 now and that pic was 8 months or so ago. I loved it the first time I saw it. Chomping a banana with a mean look on his face and his motorhead shirt on. What more can you ask for?

watching this online right now. So far it is good. It does need the R rating.

Just finished it and thought it was pretty good.

You can also watch this online at watch-movies.net They are not very great quality but it is free and gets the job done. just search The Signal and it will come up.
