Angry I am so Mad!!!! - 09.26.2005, 08:44 PM

I go to my mailbox and was excited to see a package from Mike in there, my last piece I need to get my Emaxx up and running, and the freakin' box was empty!! One of the tabs came undone from the box, it was open and stamped all over "RECEIVED WITHOUT CONTENTS". WTF?!?!? Where's my motor? Wouldn't the post office find it in one of the shipping bins?? Why'd they even bother to deliver like this? Just to toy with me?

I've just about had it with trying to get a decent motor/esc combo for my Emaxx. First I made the mistake of buying a 6XL/9920 from someone else, frying the 9920 and ordering a 16016 from Mike, later to realize I needed a 7XL to make it more reliable, and then the 7XL gets lost somewhere. This has been a very expensive frustrating learning experience. Maybe it's time to go back to 1:1 scale (real cars)-- this isn't turning out to be any cheaper!!!

Canada Post lost one of my 40.160Ks..... after 3 months of phone calls.. They finally gave me the money back..... I had to wait one month before I can say it was lost....

but atleast I got my money back....
and when the first Novak SS5800 came out... the shaft came slid off the magnet.. So I sent it back to novak.. and of course.. they fixed it and shipped it to me... they said that they left in behind the front door.. but nothing was there.. so I waited a week or two..and called them.. they said that it was delivered.... I said WTF?... but.. they sent me a brand new one.. and this time.. they wanted a signature.. I don't blame them...

Today I received a package from RobotCombat, and it was F*cking opened... I'm checking the mailbox everyday waitin' for the basic 2400 and 7xl to arrive....

I think I've seen more of the mailbox than my G/F.. haha j/k

I wonder some times if the mail people don't rob you. Not to say the crooks but then again they do work for the government.

I like to hope they are above this, but if a box is opened and it has something they want, I can't help but wonder if this determines whether or not the package is lost! I will buy more tape for future order for sure!

You never know LOL!!

I live in New Zealand and i've never recieved an open package. But the first thing i ever ordered was a revo and this was when they first came out, i waited about a month and a half because it was back ordered on towerhobbies, then after 30 days i emailed towerhobbies cause i still hadnt recieved it, they said to wait for 45 days so after that they gave my money back cause it was lost in the mail lol!! that sucked!!

and another package i got recently from towerhobbies was sent to sweden by mistake lol.

I never had any problems with Mikes packages, and the swiss post and customs have some picky fools. Mike always did a very good packing job, and the custom papers were well done.
Knock on wood, though, but none of my RC stuff ever got lost, or damaged. Even though the swiss post workers seem to play soccer with the packages sometimes.

Sorry to hear, standard.

You're just asking for trouble with that one, I'd probably be dragging it inside just as my mom would walk by......no more rc for me if that happened! :D

Yeah, I have to wonder if it's deliberate theft sometimes too. The box wasn't crushed at all, it kinda looked carefully opened. The marked "recieved without contents" just seemed mean leaving it in my box like that, and of course no mention of that tidbit in the online tracking info. And good luck getting thru to them on the phone. Sometimes my magazine subscriptions mysteriously skip a month here and there as well. Hmmm...

Anyway, Mike emailed me and is going to help me out with this one - -I am so happy do be dealing with someone like Mike, he really is a stand up guy and is going to get all my business. I can't recommend his store enough -- best experience!!

Thanks so much Mike! For the great service and this great site!!:D

that's right.. you never know about some of these people....

If I worked at the Post office in Canada.. I would take it too... especially if I see a package coming from RC-Monster.. :)

last year.. I think there was $6 million worth of lost package at Canada Post.... they were all unaccounted for.... damn.. taht's a lot of ESC's, Motors, and batteries you could buy.. or Steal... :)
