it was only a matter of time before they come out with their own, i think they were just testing the waters with all the tires and bodies they make for crawlers.

It will be awesome for smaller scale builds though. Another 2.2 in the market wouldn't really change much for parts availability, just another set of axles to keep spare parts for. A nice tranny for 2.2's would have been cool though.
The small size will make it easy to find tough terrain too, whereas a nice 2.2 crawler needs good rocks or steep slopes to have a challenge.

I honestly think I'll add one to my RC collection. It looks to be perfect for something to drive around in the house over things likes books, pillows, pets and children. Ok, so maybe not the pets and children, but you get the idea.

Honestly the little duratrax cliff climber looks more interesting. This is a Losi product, and may have something to do with the MLST. That was crap, so I will reserve my opinion till I see a few, and hear from Rcc
I agree with you JRH, a decent tranny, maybe with a servo actuated 2 speed, or at least a disconnect would be cool. Like a mini emaxx 2 speed, or something like a mass produced r2 with more stength and bearings...

Yeah, thinking the same thing and the Duratrax one is 1/14 and looks good with the carbon parts. It is also the same price and comes in either RTR or prebuilt
