Direct Drive Revo? Possible? - 07.11.2008, 01:42 PM

Does anyone think it would be possible to do a direct drive setup (similiar to the emaxx setups mike does) with center diff and centered motor?

Anything is possible. would take some serious modding to the chassis but i think it could be done. Just how i am not sure. Dont have a revo to look at.

Something like this?

Metalman made this setup, it is alot like the v1 slipperential for the gmaxx chassis that mike used to sell.

Here's another view of version 1 of the "slipperential" I made that was on lincpimp's Revo before he got it:

SH Z-Car, Custom Crawler, 8s Savage, 12s XTM XLB 1/7 buggy, 4wd 4-link rear/IFS Pro4 truck, Custom Hyper 10 Short Course, Belt-Drive Mammoth ST 1/8 truggy, 4s 17.5 MM Pro HPI Blitz

Are these still in production? or R&D? If so when can we expect to see them? Thanks

All of these units pictured were one-offs. Dafni made the unit pictured in jhautz's post, and I made the one pictured in lincpimp's and my posts.

Very nice. Was it a one time deal? Or will you be making more? Thanks
