I'm using GRP Gandini tires and rims.

Here in Greece i don't have a wide selection on tires and parts in general...(custom battery tray,ESC tray ...etc)

I'm going to measure temps tomorrow and I will post asap.

I'm waiting also for MMM mark 2 and hoping to have some other mods too like getting a cc bec and a custom radio and battery box

I will try 4s lipo rather than A123...Yes the 777 with A123 is HEAVY! although A123 are quite efficient giving lots of amps even running 4s1p!

Here are some pics of my 777 SP2 almost done. I am using a MM for now until i get my MMM. I do have one problem though i am using an 8XL and 12 cell Nihm's and the front is unloading really bad. Should i switch to a thicker center diff oil? If so what weight?

Here's my SP2 next to my Kanai III. Please forgive the wiring, I have an EagleTree logger temporarily mounted on the SP2 and I have road tires mounted because I was testing it out on the street infront of my house, normally it wears Pro-Line CF tires for the track.

2nd try for a cleaner conversion.... - 09.14.2008, 05:57 AM

...i saw some pictures from castle creations conversion packs and i tried
to customize my own 777 sp2 ...

Ive made some changes:
1)monster max v2 instead of mamba max
4 cell lipo 5000mah...

i abandoned a123 cells, there too heavy for buggies although ive seen a couple of e-maxxes running on 2 packs 3 cell A123...quite fast !

i will try the new medusa tomorrow 36/60 2200kv but i know that i will buy the neu 1515
i will post some data on Wednesday....

(the tray was a car's first aid kit...cant find a proper one here in Athens) loooooooooool

MMM+medusa res 2000kv - 09.17.2008, 02:08 PM

Today Ive tried the new Medusa 36-60 2000kv motor....

Quite nice one and not so warm..

Gearing 13 novak pinion with the custom spur.i think i must try 14t...

run times about 8 to 10 min approx.

Tomorrow will measure with Medusa's oracle data recorder and i will post figures.
