I did. Unfortunately all those sweet new bits aren't compatible with the old chassis :( the front steering brace (not the torque rod) and the rear torque rod style brace would work, but nothin else. Damn I wish I waited a little bit longer.. this would make my layout so much better

There gonna be here soon! I just need the extended arms(of course the things that accompany them too). In fact, I'm still using the beta crt.5 extended chassis that was designed by BP-Revo(Mine is 6061-T6 BP's is 7075-T6).

Bye

Yeah - I got the new kit a week or so ago, opened it up and started looking. When the previous pic on the site and the parts I received didn't match up, I asked Mike what was up - did I get the wrong parts? He sent me a copy of the one you linked, but before the batt or motor was in and explained all the improvements he has made to the kit. Said he would get the site updated - he's been busy I see.

Guess the timing was just right for me this time!!

Is the chassis the same length and thickness as the older version?

Will this kit bring the little truggy up to the 10th scale for REAL with the suspension kit or just near it?

Please, need some answers.

The name is Alawi. You can call me Al.
Nice to meet you!

That's the .5 Mike brought to the last little bash at the barn. You'll notice that he has the "big bore" shock conversion on it as well. He pushed the motor more off to the side to make more batt room towards the center. He moved the brace to the other side, and the F brace has holes for the F chassis brace to be on either side.

should just be a matter of time

I talked to mike the other day and he said the arms were ready. He is just waiting for 1 last piece. So soon.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

You forgot the new arms have different mounting positions, so if you look the front revo shocks are actually in the normal shock holes, not the body post holes! SWEET!

I cant wait for these! Im already broke as heck, but dang I NEED these!!!

The new chassis looks nice also! Is Mike actually using the Tekin motor and esc? I see its on 2s lipo, I wonder how its working for him?

It's really funny I didn't see them last night and went ahead and bought a Hurst short throw shifter for my mustang. Now I don't have money! Life is funny that way...

So it will be $330 to fully extend my CRT.5 (chassis and arms, no motor mount)... pretty pricey, but I bet its totally worth it.

You may want to invest in cnc al hubs, and some better steering tie rods with captured ball ends instead of the ball studs. I can see the little crt getting quite heavy. I wonder if the hinge pin mounts will survive? Nice looking kit all the same. If he did the arms in plastic I would buy them...
