And another one bites the dust ta..... - 08.24.2008, 04:49 PM

no smoke , no nothing, just quit , no biggie , its my first so im not to worked up about it , just disappointed , stomps feet and sticks out bottem lip

i got about 45 min out of it

it was funny though my wife was out with me and i was driving for like 15 min and it just stopped and i was like trying to get the body off to make sure it wasnt smokin and she was like what did you do , and i was like nothing it just stopped

anyway , i hope it is not related to set-up hvmaxx motor 4.5 turn and geared 11/68 in a e-revo , today the temps were the same as yesterday , motor 130* esc. through the side vent 110*

************

so what do i need to send back? just the esc. i hope , i really dont want to take the wiring apart

thanks

It couldn't hurt. Mine, V1, has an external ccbec and I removed the fan from the board and wired it to the rx. So far I have 15+ packs through it w/no probs.

I found this part to be the most shocking part of the post......you must have brought your rig on the way to the jewlery store to buy the necklace you have been promising your wife..and said in the car "Honey I will just be a minute I have to do something"

no...I am married...and my wife is cool with the hobby, she just wont go with me when I go for a session. I have said in the past "Do you want to go with me, I am going to run my RC"...and the reply I get is "have fun"...running RCs is not something women like to do.......but she has a hobby too...its cake decorating.....her fav show is this show called The Ace of Cakes, I find that as boring as she finds RCs.....
