I just picked up my Erevo on friday....and did the following Mods...before it even seen an ounce of juice.....
Techno sway bar kit
Orange springs (front) 60w oil
Gold springs (rear) 60w oil
RPM Arms Front (L/R)
RPM true trac
23mm dace adapters w/ 23mm velo's w/ badlands
Quark 125b w/ 7xl.....gearing will be 20/68
(2S2P ... 4S) 8000 maxamps lipo's
I really liked them on my Gmaxx, when I had it, so i just kept them and added it to the E-revo........just a FYI....I dyed the chassis & rockers black......
I have a similar set up with my converted Revo..I really like the RPM arms especially the true tracs and I have the RPM knuckles with the larger bearings a big improvement over the stock knuckles, and if you havnt done so tape the Badland tires they really improve the tire from ballooning.
+1 for taping the badlands! I just took all mine off the maximizers today and used packing tape on them. Way better handling truck in the few minutes I ran it. Although I didn't balance them they don't seem to bad with the tape.
Thanks for the comments guys.....as for the chassis it was quite easy to dye.....just take everything apart...and buy a large disposable cooking pan, and use 2-3 bottles of rit black dye, and 1 1/2 cups white vinager and cook ( simmer) on low- med heat for 2-3 hours on the stove...... once done wash in cool water.....but make sure you rinse the sink out alot....or it may stain......one more thing about the rockers....put them on a string...and place them in.....cause it is alota easier to keep track of them in the solution as well......I found this info on traxxas on how to dye the chassis....
Nope not yet, still waiting on my pinion from Mike to get here......I forgot to order it with all the other stuff I ordered.......should be here this coming week....
The thread is only 13 posts, you ought to read it! Sorry if thats harsh, but its still a short thread and a few of the posts tell about the black chassis. He dyed it!!!! Don't take it too personally but the forums do work a lot better if you read and not just ask questions. Many questions that people ask have already been answered in the same thread they ask it in!
I dyed it, basicly with 2 bottles of rit clothing dye & about 2 cups vinager, brought to boil then turned down to a simmer and dropped the chassis in it , and kept turning it aver few minutes for 3 hrs... then rinsed in cold water & allowed to dry........no more grey chassis......or rockers for that matter as well.
