Hello everybody -
02.15.2005, 05:47 AM
Hi guys, I'm new here. Just like to say hello to all of you.
I switched from Nitro to BL and own a BL TwinForce and a stock EMaxx. My current project is to BL-ize a Revo, and I'm almost done.
My favourite BL combo is the Nemesis 9L/Warrior 9918, but one fine day I would like to get a Plettenberg.
I like to run my MT's on 14 cells.
I'm having a hard time getting certain parts, my only real source is Towerhobbies. Would love to get metal gears for an EMAxx tranny, and some other things.
Okay guys, have a great time!

Thanks for the welcome!
Ja, the BL-RVO will be sweet. I am really taking my time on this one, so it should look clean in the end. However, I'm still waiting to get some parts. And I also have to spend some time in the workshop. But so far it looks very promising. I'll post pics when it's ready for the puplic.
These tranny gears, especially those on the output shaft plus this shifter wheel with the knobs, would be very cool to have in metal.
It's a pain to get stuff here (switzerland).
BTW, you can see my stuff over on LSARC.com, great place to hang out. (if I'm allowed to say this here)

Welcome to the forums, daf! I am very interested in the brushless Revo as well (thought about it quite a bit and may take this on after I finish the brushless truggy project).

Thanks for the link. The pic looks awesome, would love to get these gears. But somehow I couldn't quite understand....says sold-out. Plus I couldn't contact them.
Maybe one of you guys could give it a try?
Mike, maybe this gears would be something for your shop here??

We are working on a center diff conversion for now. I have thought about doing those gears, but they are very expensive to have done. We'll see.

Ja, they are pricy. But I can imagine the transmission would be bulletproof.

The stock e-maxx tranny with the UE idler gear is damn near bulletproof for most applications. There are very few applications that "need" the all metal tranny gears. They are a nice "bling" item though and I would imagine everything else on the truck would fail before those gears!

Welcome Daf.
I had those ultramaxxed gears before. They were going to go into a brushless txt1 with an emaxx tranny. I decided to sell the txt and the gears not knowing I was going to get an emaxx. Those gears are beefy and I wish I still had them.
Mike, so how soon are you in getting the tranny completed. My fingers are starting to itch.:D

I see. Thanks guys.
Those UE idlers are also hard to get for me. UE won't do oversea business anymore:( , and my usual dealer doesn't carry UE stuff.
Can somebody help me? Would reward you with a few bucks.
I would need a set of those idlers, and maybe some more stuff.

Idlers - -

I know of one instance of a person that shipped overseas before - and ( not the customers fault, mind you ) had their package lost. Unless the gears are shipped first class or fed ex or some other type of traceable shipping i think you are going to find some difficulty in getting them. Im sure that that type of shipping is real pricy. In this instance a couple of very expensive shipments was shipped overseas. two were received within a couple of days and the other is going on a month now i believe. It has become sort of risky shipping overseas nowadays...Good luck

We changed our International shipping policy to Express Mail Service or better due to this reason, but still ship overseas quite often.
We stock UE idlers and driveshafts specifically for our International customers (because I know they can't get them direct). Ultimately, it was RC-Monster taking the loss on the lost package, which is why our current International shipping policy requires a traceable shipping method (more expensive, but very fsat and reliable). Packages usually arrive within a few days with our current method.
