Enderland 25c 2s Hard Case Packs - 09.08.2008, 05:39 AM

After all the rain on Sat I was able to put only one pack through my stampede with the Enerland HC 25c packs.

The ET seems to show good performance and the 5700 sure is an ampy motor!

Do you know what gearing you are running? I put my eagle tree on my friends stampy with 5700 and he wasn't even pulling half the amp spikes you are. It wasn't the pack either as the voltage wasn't dropping much. His system runs pretty cool which is a good thing cause he runs it in tall grass but it is still plenty fast.

Edit: I am not having a go at your setup either. Just curious as to what your gearing is because he is obviously geared a lot lower then he could be.

They look good. How do they compare in size with other hard cased lipos?

I looked at the data on my eagle tree on the pc and I was wrong. The amp peaks are just as high. For some reason The power panel isn't displaying the proper peak max amps. I have sent eagle tree systems an e-mail about it but have yet to get a reply.

I'm interested in the response from Eagle Tree as my power panel also displays amp reads much lower than the data loaded to the PC.

ROAR defines the sizes very precisely:

The maximum dimensions are:
Length: 139mm +0mm/-3mm
Width: 47mm +0mm/-2mm
Height: 25.1mm +0mm/-3.0mm

These packs are within tolerances and fit perfectly in Mike's CRT .5 chassis boxes.

PS I need to confirm gearing but IIRC 16/86 maybe

Thanks for posting the info. Any idea which gives more run time - assuming the same vehicle/conditions...

The 5000 30c packs

or

The 5100 25c packs

I looked at some of the discharge graphs and it seems like the 30c cells deliver more capacity if the load is higher. I have a feeling we place a pretty high load on the cells so I wonder if in real world use the 5000 30c cells will actually run longer...I may have to do some tests...

Hey,do any of you have graphs showing a pavement speed run? Like a good 15 seconds of WOT I'm interested in seeing how many constant amps a 5700 will draw geared with maybe a 23 tooth, also how much of an effect it would have on the voltage.

After 15 seconds of WOT the vehicle would be about 1/4 mile away....

Ok, maybe 10. I don't time my speed runs, but I've noticed I take up about 900 feet give or take. Either way, I'd like to see a steady WOT graph that isn't just a bunch of spikes. I wish I had a data logger, I'm curious for a ballpark figure. I run a 5lb rustler with a 6900 geared semi high and I think it's not gettin enough amps from the enerland 16c 5350 I have to push it past 70 mph.

Are you expecting 70mph on 2S Lipo in a Rustler? If so, you're out of touch with reality.
