End Cap for Neu - 09.10.2008, 01:41 PM

I don't see the end cap on the RCM store web page anymore? Did I over look it or is it no longer available?

In planes/helicopters, yes, but car motors typically don't have those holes anyways. So for cars, no.

I think it just got a bit confusing as the Neu's evolved into three different designs which required different designs.

I have been emailing Mike back and forth, and there are actually now MUCH more than just three versions. The diameter is easy to pick, but the problem he is having is that the slots in the end bell cap don't line up with the screws in the motor. And each motor has the screws in different spots around the motor...

Looks like I will have to take the Neu to the grocery store to measure the caps on the bottles in the fruit juice isle. Wait I just got new digital calipers. I'll put on some high water brown slacks, black dress shoes and white sock. Steal a pocket protector from the guys in engineering (still a couple that use them) and stand in the isle with a note pad and measure them. Chicks dig the nerds!

Don't forget the white tape holding your bifocals together. And say things to yourself like "Yeah Peoples Court is on at five" or " Two hundred thirty five yeah Two hundred thirty five toothpicks on the floor"

Where have you been? Chicks dig money, and queer looking guys. End of story.

Lucky for me I have money, but I offset that by making fun of queer looking guys to their face. Chicks do not like it when you make queer looking guys cry, I think it reminds them that those guys are not queer looking for no reason....

Good thing I am married, huh!!!

When I was back in my 20s
I was at a party at a girls house that I knew and she intoduced me to a gay couple and this is what happened..

I get introduced ...(my friend says "John...this is Neil and Bob" and I answered with "Hey Neil and Bob Is that your name or is that what you do"....and one of the guys started to cry....well long story short I was the bad guy...but looking back it was so setup I had to do it...LOL

azjc. LOL That is too funny. Some quick thinking on your part coming up with that. Did she laugh?

I don't know how it's going to hold up but I found some of the aluminum type tape they would use for furnace ducts. I put a piece of that on there. The stuff has some real stick em and should hold up to the heat without a problem. I used a piece on the front of my medusa to cover the holes up and it was tough to get it back of there but it did the job.
