How can Castle possibly supply enough MMM's to traxxas for the new brushless erevo? -
10.17.2008, 11:04 PM
We can't get solid working units yet how is castle going to supply Traxxas with enough units that can provide a 3-5% failure rate vs the current 50+ % failure rate? Castle still has two of my v2's in a pile waiting to be replaced... before snow? I guess I just hope they can handle all the replacements.. let alone a super account w/ Traxxas. Hmm.. maybe Traxxas has better manufacturing and it's going to be a mutually beneficial relationship?
Thoughts?

Castle is still sticking by a 5% failure rate...
But I agree with you...obviously the BL E-Revo is going to be a bit delayed...or, in any event, won't be here for a while...I'm guessing 2nd week of November.

With only a 5% failure rate this group must be 100% of all failures.. only folks on this msg board have failures... over 50% at that :) I have had 2 v1 failures and 3 v2 failures, 2 of which have not yet been replaced :( Like I said I'm just hoping before snow :)

I have an idea, we need more threads bashing CC again that way Patrick will just be dying to come back!
Is it really necessary to have constant CC and TRX bashing threads around hear. I think everyone knows what's going on and what the opinions are. This got old months ago.

You need to stop reading everything so negative.. I was just looking for answers, and thoughts.. not bashing. I did add in a few known facts, but since when is speaking of the current reality bashing anyone?

Most of what I have ever seen you write tends toward the negative, so I can only base my observations upon my experience.

Where's the love guys?!?!?!?
I know that I am a sarcastic SOB... But there is no need to be harsh to each other. I do agree that speculation is just that, and most of the new threads I see are not questions about products or setup help, or even new products, but speculation threads.
CC have fixed the problem, Patrick said that earlier on fri. So they will be starting up mfg again. They made quite a few MMMs in the v1 and v2 run.
How about posting facts? How many MMMs are out there? I don't know. I have 3 and 1 failed, so I have a 66% success rate. Others have 1 and it is still going, so they have 100% success. And not all failures are due to a faulty product. So some solid numbers would be nice before making wild accusations...
All I can say is lets stop wasting Mike's space on idle speculation, and get some build threads going. Hell, I don't care if it is pics of your home improvement stuff, or vids of you cat chasing and r/c car.
I can only imagine that all of this is pissing Mike off...

I'm on the same frequency as 'Pimpin on this subject matter. I have one V2, which failed. Ok, so I returned it and await Castle's improved version. That would make my vote theoretically 100% for failure rate, but I openly give Castle 100% credit for owning up to it. The fact that they are supplying esc's for Traxxas will only improve what I already think is a good product, perhaps marginal design issues and great customer service. We all stand to gain from this.
