BL Tc3 - 11.20.2005, 06:48 PM

Hello,

I have started a new project. It will be a brushless TC3. It will be running a Feigo 540C 9L motor. For batteries I will be running 2 poly-quest 2s 3100mah lipolys. I have not decided on the controller yet. This is the chassis design so far. It is currently being machined as I type this by Andrew at Cold Fusion Racing.

Nice! a 9L motor is too much torque. You'll probbably kill ur diffs. Ur better off with a 6s or one of them smaller motors.

I think I am going to go with the 380C 7-9T motor instead of the 540C 9L. I was reading over at radio control zone, and I was reading some brushless TC3 projects, and they are all running the 380C becaseu they said that it is insanely fast still, and will for the most part not destroy the drivetrain. If you think different let me know.

Thanks
-Joe

I'm always a fan of keeping the drivetrain intact :)

Electronics run on smoke... if you let the smoke out, they stop working.

ok, thanks. I will be ordering the 380C in a couple of days hopefully, and hopefully my chassis will be here in a couple of days aswell, so that I can start moving on this project.
