id get a sidewinder esc and or mm esc and then you can run the stock titan off it if your running a spec class and later grab a brushless motor if you want, their cutoffs are much more reliable and actually kill and car not just blink a light.

A novak 2 cell lipo cut off will work without a problem! Don't know why it wouldn't be compatible. I have one that I have traxxas connectors installed on already, plugs in line with the battery so you don't have to solder anything to the esc. Then it simply plugs into the rx and your esc plugs into the cutoff, program it and your ready to rip! It will blink a light at first when you are nearing the cut off as well as blipping the throttle, then it will do a hard cut off. Worked great for me! If your interested in it PM me, I have no use for it anymore.

Oh yeah, i neglected to mention that i still want the "waterproof" capabilities of the stock slash, i drive in any condition. I'd hate to destroy a halfway decent brushless setup by driving through puddles.

Thats kinda weird! I really thought the only difference between them was being sealed up from water

yeah it was the FIRST cutoff i found and was like, "JUST MY LUCK!!" Im not unhappy with the speed of the stock slash, i just wanna beat the hell outta it with a high Mah battery without problems (all other rc's i have are not nearly as reliable, i just wanna have fun, not repair all day)
