yaaay i can post now...

ok so i just bought a revo that i'm gonna convert to electric.
for the time being as i'm short of $$ i got a CC u-bec and i'm just gonna run the VXL system and 3s 8000mah 10c lipo (trueRC so i think that means it's really 15c) from my rustler in it just to see it move.

then my plan is to get the teckno converison mount and robinson racing steel gears and use the following electrics...

ZIPPY 4s 20-30C 5000mah
MM (modded to suit)
feigao 6-7XL

my club is kinda shunning hte electrics now as they are scared we are gonna have an uprising

so i'm keeping the revo so all i have to do is drop in the nitro gear and i'm nitro again in about 30 mins.
(i hate nitro btw)

now...
what mods do i need for a MM to run 4s?
i think i need a BEC and a fan but is there anything else i should get.
this has to run RELIABLY!!! as that's my game.

and the other thing...
when searching this forum for MM mods (threads from before hte MMM days) i saw someone on here doing a brushless converison to a pickup truck.

i NEED to know what motor that was (brushless, bout 1' cube thing) and what controller.
i'm a fan of saving the environment stuff and an electric conversion for my car would be ultra cool (done tell me it's impractical lol)

I believe that was zeropointbug, that had the 1:1 truck he was converting. Shoot him a pm about your motor question.

ok so i ve lined up a mamba max to mod (mild) to run 4s and a medusa 80mm motor.

i have a CC BEC and i need a fan right?
is that it?

Add one of these to the power leads as close to the ESC as you can:

One is really all that's needed, plus be sure to observe the polarity when you solder it in place.

They are polarity sensitive.

This will help ESC temps alot. It makes it smoother on power delivery too.
