crt .5 Noob question on wheels?? - 12.24.2008, 09:17 PM

So I just got as sick little truggy in the mail yesterday and it has a Team Bluegroove BL conversion and I wanted to do something a little different with the wheels.

So first I thought could you use the HYPER buggy wheels and that was kinda silly idea...i dunno what I was thinking.

Then once I found out the buggy has 12mm hexes I saw these and was like...whoa I have wanted to do some bead locks on a truggy.

Could this work??? This is just the first set I came across. I would probably go with plastic so that the weight is not too much.

I need input.

If anyone wants to see some pics of the new rig I could take some prequel shots.

Not sure if they will work. Most 2.2 bead locks center mounting hole is larger than what is normally on your truck. I bought a set for my crt.5 and had to return them for this reason. The only way to be sure is to measure the hole diameter and match it up to your truck.

Can you just drill the hole to size, I figuer the hex is the important part. I may be wrong in this assumption.
