808 mount on a xb8 - 12.30.2008, 04:39 PM

I'm currently awaiting my xray xb8tq and was wondering will the 2 piece 808 mount fit on the xb8? I really like the 2 piece design and want to use it.
thanks alot!

Yes it should!.. I used an old RCM mount on my Xb8 (Ross's now) here the link:

Also get the 808 shocks and de-anodize all of the Xray stuff and buff it to a high gloss shine.. you'll be stooked!..

Hope that helps and welcome to the MONSTER!..

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..

i hate you for doing that shaun this thing is a nightmare to keep clean and polished. i thought metalman made this motor mount.... either way im gonna have to replace it soon because his plastic bearing holder piece is half way broken and the motor my finned canned motor still so close to the chassis they rub....

im also curious if the new 808 mount will slip right in the xb8, the top holes dont mater for the center diff plate, only thing that has to work i guess is the placement of the bearing hole and the bottom holes...i always use my own top plates.
