Passing of a RCM member - 01.27.2009, 08:06 PM

I was forwarded an e-mail today that a forum member here, Capt Ron, passed away early last week. While some of us only knew him briefly, he was a great guy and will be missed. A link to a thread on RumRunner with more information, some of which is posted by his sister:

Hopefully he has gone to a better place. I do remember his posts, seemed like a truly nice fellow.

Damn, didn't know him too well, but talked a few times and bought a ton of developer A123s from him. (actually have the box still downstairs, was going to sell these too.
Kinda strange actually, now feels like a collectors item or something. IDK. :( )
He seemed like a real nice guy.

I vaguely remember him, but still feel for the loss. I hope at least it was a peaceful passing...

I vaguely remember the name, but hope he is in a better place than us. God Bless him, his family, and friends.

I did not know him but feel loss for his friends and family. I "live" online quite a bit (usually) and although I've never met any of you I consider many of you friends. I don't like thinking about it, but it is inevitable that we will all pass away someday.

So I'd like to take this moment to say to all of the RCM members- I appreciate all of you. I may disagree with some of you sometimes, or even call you out on something, but I don't get angry or hold grudges. May we all do the best we can with the time we've got. Peace. -Harold
