What a real 4WD should look like - 01.27.2009, 10:34 PM

Never did this before and its actually harder than it looks. I know I could of added more but then again I didnt want to crowd it up. The only decal's are the chevrolet, the k5 blazer and the lower grill. I really hope you guys like this one.

It's funny how a rustbucket can look so good! I have to admit this is one of my favorites. The details are just amazing!

Dude your work is insane- the only other body I've ever seen that impressed me like yours was a handlaid fiberglass body a guy did on RCGroups. But this is my problem with having a nice body at all on an RC- it never lasts- this is like taking a canvas that Rembrandt JUST painted and running it over with a tractor. I sincerely hope none of your bodies end up on a running vehicle

That is some serious talent you have

Actually all my bodies end up on running RC and alot of the monster trucks I do end up racing. I kind of have a way of keeping the paint intact and keeping the paint to last. I cant stop the damage that may occure on the outside, but guys I have painted for 2 years ago are still racing the shells I did for them then.

Looks good, now take a scuff pad to the outside to get rid of the shine! Nobody waxes a rusty 1:1 truck...

Messing wit ya, I paint full sized stuff for a living, and can appreciate your attention to detail. God knows I have spent many an hour obsessing about the smallest detail on a shelby cobra, or the silver layout on a new lexus. You must enjoy doing this, it really shows.
