My RC-MONSTER RC8E - 01.29.2009, 02:54 PM

RC8
RC-Monster RC8 chassis
Castle Creations Mamba Monster Max / 2650 Kv combo
JR 8711 Servo
SR 3500 RX
Polyquest 5000 mah 4 cell lipo
Proline Badlands

This is my 3rd conversion using RC-Monster parts and as always I am 100 % satisfied with the parts.

The tare down.

It only took me 45 minutes to do the parts swap. All the parts fit like a glove.

I am waiting for the battery and servo to finish the build, then time for some video.

Very nice - the RCM stuff is just silly nice. Hope they start coming out with some other chassis kits in addition to the RC8 and RC8T.

Man I love those RCM RC8 chassis'. I gotta keep myself from buying another rig though (it's tough looking at these).

I wish Mike would make that same kit for an MBX-6.

I think Mike will make these kits for just about anything as long as you can send him a chassis to work from.

Really? I'd like to get one of his chassis's for my E-8ight. I know the 8ight already has the offset drivetrain, but I'd like to get one without all the extra holes and with the lowered COG.

Any word on this Mike?

E-CRT.5 Monster - RCM chassis, MM/Medusa 50x3300/3s, truck tires, 1/8 shocks
E-CRT.5 Stock - Sidewinder/4600/2s, buggy tires
E-8ight - Tekin RX8 2000kv/4S
E-8ight T- Tekin RX8 1700kv/5S

Shoot him a PM - that's what I did when I was considering a chassis/kit for a buggy. He told me to send him the chassis to work something up. I'm sure he would love to have more kits for sale on the site.

Looks great! I love all the shiny aluminum. What kind of hex drivers are those? Did they come in a package as pictured?

The tools are by EDS Rc tools. The tools are a package that I put together. The guy a EDS will let you pick what tools you want. The tool kits start at 34.95 and go up to 450.00. I hand picked all my tools and had my name engraved on the handles for 190.00
