Gran Torino - 02.15.2009, 06:03 AM

I went out to see the movie Gran Torino, I loved it ( I am a big Clint Eastwood fan) it was typical Eastwood...lol...he was so racist but the neighbors blew it off as him being a crusty old guy

I agree I ordered Gran Torino, The Insideman, and Death Race. All were amazing movies(Insideman was the best IMO)

Clue me in - how did you "order" a movie that is still in the theaters (did you mean pre-order?)????

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

That sucks - I was hoping they'd come out with a way for us to get the movies early!

You can just download them(limewire) and watch them. I know some people who download them onto DVD's but thats illegal. Not sure if it is just to download them onto your computer. I downloaded deathrace onto my ipod today and i'm 99% insideman's on limewire. Not sure about GT though.

Gran Torino is a classic for sure. I can't believe so many of the H-Wood movie snobs ignored it and it got no award nominations.

It was classic Eastwood, a real dirty harry feel to it. Kind of like a Dirty Harry retirement movie. The ending was great, not what I expected. Also did you know that the white kid that almost got beat up by the black guys is Clint's son in real life?

The other thing I liked is that the Gran Torino (the car) is such an awesome but much over looked auto, much cooler than the same era Mustangs in my opinion.

I will definitely own this movie!
