Smile Intro & latest project - 03.13.2009, 01:18 AM

Hi guys glad to be a part of this forum!! Just a little introduction, I first got introduced to R/C in the Eighties and my first car was a Tamiya Grasshopper which I still have, it just needs a little restoring. I now have a few cars under my belt (can't stop buying, I'm sure everyone here can relate). I wanted to share with you my latest project, my now brushless Kyosho Inferno GT with the Aston Martin body, here are the specs:

RCM Kyosho motor mount
RCM battery tray
Mamba monster 2200kv combo
Robinsons Racing 14t mod 1 pinion
Kyosho plastic 46t spur
Yeah Racing aluminum arms all around
GRP tires on GS Racing wheels
Zippy 4s lipos (soon to get 5 or 6s)

Finally got to test it today & I was just all smiles. No regrets converting it to brushless as it performs better than nitro, don't get me wrong I like nitro just not all the time. With the setup I have motor temp stayed at around 110-115 degrees, the Mamba setup just runs really cool. And did I mention it's fast and it's only running 4s can't wait to try 6s I got a good 20min runtime on it, not bad. I attached some pics...hope you guys like them.

Welcome to the forum!

I really like the Aston body... Detail is great! You will have alot of fun, especially when you get it going 60+mph!

Welcome to the forum! Looks good! I just noticed you are in San Diego. I'm up in Poway. Let's run them some time. It would be cool video to get these two running together. I did mine up a little while ago and kept the two speed. You can see from the pics in my shell that I've met up with a curb or two.
