Just some bitchin - 03.16.2009, 09:40 PM

So I bought the MMM ESC on Ebay on the 9th of March. I thought I might of had it last week sometime. Nothing. So I figure maybe Saturday. Nothing. SO I think it has got to be here today. Nothing. I have been checking the gay USPS Tracking and it was never updated until now. This is what is says. Keep in mind this guys is in Orlando Florida.

Label/Receipt Number: 9101 7850 9140 1954 0941 59
Status: Processed

Your item was processed and left our ORLANDO, FL 32862 facility on March 16, 2009. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

That is today..... I wish I would of waited for Tekno or RC Monster to get them in stock. They are in stock now but at the time they were not. What a joke this has been. And yes I am just a tad pissed. Not to mention he shipped it parcel not priority. So I should see it in another 5-7 days. Why do people not ship priority??? It is only a buck or two more than parcel and you can ship anything in 2-3 days in the U.S.

Now I am guessing I will get it and I will end up with a bunk one like I have been reading about and have to send it out to castle for repairs which will take a good month to get back. Seems like I am having a streak of bad luck here... LMAO

Did you buy it from an individual or shop? It sounds like they sat on it for several days before sending it out.

It was from HobbyMagic in Orlando Florida. I paid for it on the 9th. I then got a shipping email USPS on the 11th. That is what I was checking on everyday for the status of it. When I checked it again tonight I got the message I posted above. Doesnt make any sense to me. His feedback is good too he is a powerseller. It is a version 3 MMM. Just disappointed if it really got processed first today.

I'd agree w/ Sean on that.

And that tracking message more than likely will not change until it is scanned at the last touch of the postal carrier and put in your mailbox.

I had that same type of message for 2 weeks while waiting on some DNA wheels that I finally got last week.

It will more than likely show up. Just not a quick as you expected it.

Thats the problem, (especially with international orders which already have extra transit time) is that these stores wait till they accumulate more sales to save on trips to the PO. FWIW I feel your pain Jeremy.

Next time you're looking for something...let me know...I'll find it for you from a more reputable source. FWIW, I don't even know who/where Hobby Magic is and I've been living in Orlando since 2000.

In the future I am buying only from Tekno or Mike. Both outstanding shipping. You guys all know how bad it is to wait for parts. Here is a message in his store I was just alerted to:

WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH OUR SITE, IF YOU PURCHASED AND ITEM AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT PLEASE SEND US AN EMAIL TO DR350Z@HOTMAIL.COM, SO WE CAN FOLLOW UP AND MAKE SURE IT IS DELIVERED,SOME ITEMS ARE NOT SHOWING UP IN OUR SYSTEM. FOR FUTABA 10C BUYERS PLEASE SEND US ALL INFORMATION.

Jeremy I dont know where you live but I live in Phoenix and I try to oder through Impakt RC (Tekno), Amain, and RCM and last resort through Tower and mostly due to the speed of shipping, Mike being in NY actually isnt too bad I will usually get an order within 3 days from the USPS email.

And I will go on record by saying the USPS tracking is as useless as tits on a tomcat

It could be worse, you should see how long it takes to get parts in Australia!
