The following quotes are taken from another site..........
"The spur shown and included has 46 teeth. This is the minimum size possible. We are working on a 50t spur as well for some truggy applications. the diff measures about 32.75mm across with 8x16 bearings(outside to outside of the bearings)."
"Id have to measure it to tell you bearing to bearing. But it is the same length as the standard Mugen, AE, Losi, Xray, Caster diff lengths and should drop right into any of them. A shim or 2 in the diff mount to keep it centered will allow it to be used with the brands that have longer diff bearing to bearing lengths"
This may help with working out if it fits into the Raze
I like it.......I LIKE IT ALOT!!!!!!

I want to know more info on the slipperential. I need to know what it is, what models are are, and how it works. Can anyone do that? Maybe a sticky should be made?

The design has been tweaked and tuned for over a year and we have applied for a Patent to protect our efforts(interested manufacturers are welcome to contact me for licensing opportunites).
The Slipperentials will be listed on the site this weekend and start shipping Monday.

What is the Purpose of the slipperential.. I know what a slipper is used for, reducing shock on the driveline etc... but today's 8th scale vehicles are damned near bulletproof when it comes to drivetrain I dont see why we need the added protection.
Also can we get this moved underneath the "brushless" section-its throwing me off

Perhaps you haven't thrown a rotor from the motor shaft on your brushless motor yet? It happens. This will minimize the drive train shock(so drive shafts, diff gears, motors, etc. will last longer), but also can provide some traction control, while retaining the benefits of a center differential.

The biggest I have seen is the rotor coming off the shaft. The motor ends up being the slipper (not good).
I've held my breath a few times when landing from a jump with all 4 wheels hitting at the same time.

Ive broken the magnets loose from the shaft on a Lehner once. Shaft just started sliding out the end of the motor. Expensive failure. Probably more than twice the cost of the slipperential.
Now that the pictures are done, I'm taking this one out to the track on Saturday for some test and tune and practice. Wish I could race it this week, but I cant get out this Sunday.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
