No matter what, the Wanderer/Feigo is going to get warm with extended running, even WITH a heatsink. The heatsink also functions as a clamp so it keeps the ends from popping off which is something the Feigaos are prone to. I would run no more than 10-15 minutes at a time with breaks in between to let the motor cool. Yeah, start with stock gearing and monitor temps and gear from there.
The R/C calculations like in my sig will help you get an idea of the speeds to expect.
If you aren't happy with the motor, you can always pick up a Medusa 70 or 80mm motor, or a Castle 2200 motor at a later date. Either of those offer very good bang for the buck.
yea i did the R/C calculations thing kinda hard to understand it but yea prbby later on i will get a Neu or Castle or w/e motor how do i monitor temps on the motor with a temp gun? lol of course waiting for the heat sinks to be in stock so i can get one
