I would but a Medusa wayyy before I would buy a Feigao, and a 8XL will pull more than 80 amps, if you must have one of those cheap ESCs buy the 150 amp model...the chinese have a tendency to overrate thier products
IMO..For $30- more, get a mmm esc...even if you have to save a bit more. It will give you more battery choices later.
Don't skip on your esc or motor
If you skimp, you will end up buying components twice....I made this mistake and ended up spending much more in the end that I should have. Save a bit more if you have to and buy better components. Well worth the extra money in the end....(less down time and more play time)
I am also doing a 3.3 revo conversion and I will be using the new Tekin RX8 system when it comes out or a mmm esc w/a Neu 1515.
1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S
The motor fits fine on the revo and the Mamba does come with the Castle Link usb adapter.
That 2700kv is too hot imo. 2200kv is as high as I would go. Some people do it, but its a really hot system and hard on batts, motor and esc. Better to raise voltage if you want more speed.
