How good are these NeuEnergy or Neumotors Lipo's ? - 04.08.2009, 01:11 PM

First off I know I should be buying a Thunder Power, best quality longest life cycle. I have one now, but I need a large 5s and need to save some $. Tryng to pick a suitable Lipo for my 4wd 1/5 8lb revo losi hybrid onroad rally car

I heard from Castle that Neu motors batteries are very good quality and having a sale . http://www.neumotors.com/store/page12/page12.html
Anybody know the quality or have experience with the Neumotors or the Neuenergy batteries ? ? ?

I'm sure others will reply to this, but NeuEnergy batteries are great I have 3 of them and I got all of them at a great price and they really perform well. They use Enerland cells so they are a quality product.

The Neu's are some of the best batteries I have ever used.

I read that these cells are not Enerland but are a good quality cell though
I picked up a used pack and it works great

Every bit as good as TP or Flightpower IMO. I have or have had just about all of them and the Neu batteries are as good or better than anything else out there in my experience.

I can't decide if its more fun

Neumotors are the motors made by Neu, and Neuenergy are the batteries made by Neu. Same company.

What he said!

And yes we've heard of Neu motors they are great motors, most of us use them in one form or another, Genuine Neu, Tekno Neu, Castle Neu.

No offense but a simple search will on these forums will provide you with tons of info on both of these subjects

I'd just spend $110 on two of these - Neu 30's 5s2p 5k

Hear me out , a 3200 battery at 5s is cheaper to do twice than to build one at only 5000 mah ??

Is there a battery expert in the house ?
I 'll search in tutorials again

Sure dont make getting a battery easy do they
Those are closeout prices...

If you run a pair of the 3200 5s packs in parallel you have a 6400 25c 5s pack. For around 150 shipped. You cannot beat this deal. I am a battery expert (of sorts) and can safely say that...

I would buy some more lipos from there, but I have my money tied up right now...

Lipos wired in series (+ to – ) will increase the total voltage. For example, two 2s lipos wired in series will create a 4s lipo. The mah capacity will remain the same.

Lipos wired in parallel (+ to +, - to -) will increase the total mah available, For example, two 2s 5000mah lipos in parallel will create a 2s 10,000mah lipo. The voltage remains the same.

Please explain how you series these batteries to get 5000mah but only get 5s ?

Per voltage and MAH the price is not comparable
