I have the 80mm 2000kv motor in a 16.5 lb monster truck geared 54t spur,16t pinion and 7.5 inch tall tires....crazy power all the way around. I wanted the 1600kv but at the time Mike was out of them. Truck runs great on 4s, but uncontrollable on 6s.

The heatsink/clamp Mike currently sells works well, using one on my Medusa.

The new ones will be sized for the MedUsa motors and will have covers or plugs for the cooling holes.

The heatsinks are a custom extrusion - I have already laid out $thousands on the extrusion die and material. I am waiting for the heat sinks to arrive just like you guys - trust me...I want to sell them to hopefully make some money back! The 1st sample was incorrect, so the die had to be reworked. It is getting close. :)

I'm waiting on these too!

*** Will the revised Heatsink/Clamp with Endbell cover also serve as a front cover? ***

Or will we need to add the separate front motor cover?

Cheers.

Forgot to ask...

How's everyone sealing the case where the motor leads exit? That seems to be a sizeable opening for dust and dirt to enter too.

Is silicon sealant ok?

Cheers.
