Build a track - Need YOUR help!

Hi Guys,

My father has got a pretty big house with a big garden.
Well, he hates gardens, so I can do whatever I like with it,
the first idea of which I thought was RC Track ofcourse!
Well, it should be as cheap as possible ofcourse, and it's
just to play around on with some friends. I've already made
some drawing, but I want more jumps or something like that. This is what I've got so far:





IMO there's missing something, but I don't know what, jumps or something? But which sort of jumps?
Have you guys got some ideas? And does somebody maybe have pics from a cool off-road track?

Oh forgot to say, the whole track is "made" from sand. (It's the cheapest) And around it there's high grass...

The right corner on the top pic might be a problem.
When you com on the ramp quickly, you'll always overshoot and end up next to the track/neighbours... :)

I'd put and inclined turn in the top corner of the top pic.
You know, like in nascar races, a turn where the outer side is higher than the inner side of the turn.

And maybe, if you want more jumps, I'd put another single/double/triple jump on the track.
The best location imo is on the straight piece just after the top turn, assuming you're running clockwise.

That right corner becomes a skilled section. You have to slow down and hit it appropriately.

Looks good tho. But are we talking about loose sand like beach sand or silty sand that somewhat compacts? If beach sand, good luck...

That nescar idea is a good idea, I'll include that one. I also didn't thought about run the track not-clockwise, that would be better yes.
It isn't beachsand, that would be much to loose. It's compact yes, so not to much to much traction but also not to less traction...

Why use sand at all? why not just leave it as dirt?

Berms? Instead of that silly top right corner, put that in a berm, so which is pretty much like that nascar thing.

Also, I would think one or two straights is enough, but then again, that yard may be really big, or really small, so you'll need to scale that down so we know how large the yard really is.

Toss in some long jumps in there, if you get some speed, you should be able to fly over a small straight, and turn at the last second, sounds like a good thing for me...
