8 spyder gear kit and gears? - 01.26.2006, 12:46 AM

Whats the diiference from getting the kit and just the gears? I hope this is not a stupod question, but the price difference is so great is it worth the difference? There the kit for the like 300 and the gears its self is like 80.00. Thanks for the input guys. Im just a weekend basher so what do you recommend for the diffs? THanks for ALL the help again. makana

well it costs less cause you dont get the diff housing when you just buy the gears. and since you are getting the flm hybrid bulks you dont need the supermaxx diff housing. I asked mike the same question when i got mine.

so to beef up my diffs... all i would need is the flm hybrid bulk and the 8 spyder gear set from UE? that should almost make my diff bulletproof? Laters Makana

Almost? The 8 spyder will take anything you throw at it and some more.

I haven't had a failure even with the 6 spyder diffs(and they are easier to build and maintain as well).

I run the 6 spyder diffs as well. I have not had no problems. Even with the 2250 lehner on it. I have made a couple passes with 26 cells on it to.

Peace!
