3s Flightmax vs. 3s Turnigy - 06.07.2009, 05:47 PM

hi,

because i will order a e-revo i must sell my a123 batterys and buy 3s lipo.
on hobbycity the 3s 5000 flightmax are out of stock, but the 3s 5000 turnigy are availible.

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=8579

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=9183

i think both will fit in a e-revo and my other cars.
are the turnigy recommended or its better to wait for the flightmax.

i used a 20c 5s 5000 flightmax in a lst2 and runs fine and cold.
i think 20c will be enough for lst2/x2 crt/e-revo.

whats the better battery?

Well I am going to get some of those Turnigy packs tonight. Along with a lipo charger/psu, and an MKS 3in1 balancer. As well as some turnigy servo drivers, thought they might come in handy sometime.

No one has done any long term testing with the turnigys, but I would expect them to be good from the flightmaxes performance.

i ordered 2 3s packs now.
my mate told me that a member of his boat club use the 5s turnigy in his boat.
last year the old 20c, now the 25c.
he said they are highly recommended. i hope they perform like the flightmax.

The 15-20c are actually 20-30c. There was some confusion between hobbycity and the manufactuer...

If you guys want a better deal yet, go over to http://www.aircraft-world.com/shopexd.asp?id=4267

Over stock items, won't last long. 6s 4350mah/25C pack for only $90.

Or these, http://www.aircraft-world.com/shopexd.asp?id=4959
